[00:00:00] [Music]
[00:00:04] Okay, the next thing we’re going to take
[00:00:05] off is our side panel. Now, my uh screws
[00:00:09] here, like I like I said, I sprayed them
[00:00:11] overnight to let them soak. And now uh
[00:00:14] what I’ve got to do, my screws are full
[00:00:17] of paint. So, I took a I’ve got a real
[00:00:20] fine uh flathead screwdriver, and I’m
[00:00:24] just going to knock that paint right out
[00:00:26] of there. so I can get a screwdriver in
[00:00:28] there and take them up. Okay, now we’re
[00:00:32] going to grab our flathead screwdriver
[00:00:34] and start taking these screws out.
[00:00:43] Sometimes when you got a screw stuck in
[00:00:44] there, uh what you can do is just put
[00:00:47] your screwdriver in there
[00:00:50] and tap the top of it. Sometimes that’ll
[00:00:52] help loosen it up.
[00:00:56] There it goes.
[00:01:02] Now, these screws on the side, uh, you
[00:01:05] can also spray some, uh, uh, penetrating
[00:01:10] oil from the backside cuz these screws
[00:01:12] poke out. Now, these screws also have a
[00:01:14] washer on there, so be careful not to
[00:01:16] lose those.
[00:01:23] Okay, there’s our side.
[00:01:29] I’m going to put my screws back and then
[00:01:30] we’ll spin it around and we’ll do the
[00:01:32] other side. This side, uh, there’s a
[00:01:34] little bit more to do on it. So, the
[00:01:37] first thing you want to take out is, uh,
[00:01:39] this is where the top of that nozzle
[00:01:41] sits in. Now, on the back side, we’ve
[00:01:43] got a 7/16 nut. And so I haven’t sprayed
[00:01:48] these because what I’m hoping is is
[00:01:50] these being frozen in uh I can just put
[00:01:53] my my ratchet on the back here and get
[00:01:56] it to loosen up.
[00:01:59] Yeah, there it goes.
[00:02:01] [Music]
[00:02:03] So then
[00:02:06] on the top now I’ll have to use because
[00:02:08] this vent goes up, I can’t get a ratchet
[00:02:12] I can’t get a socket in on it. So, I’ll
[00:02:13] have to use a uh um a wrench.
[00:02:18] [Music]
[00:02:20] And there is a washer on the back of
[00:02:21] this screw here. So,
[00:02:26] all right. Let’s see if we can get that
[00:02:28] top one loose.
[00:02:43] Okay, there’s our vent. And so I’m going
[00:02:46] to put my
[00:02:48] screws and my washer and my nut back on
[00:02:50] there and
[00:02:52] set it aside. And then we’ll work on uh
[00:02:55] we’ll work on the uh the other part
[00:02:58] here.
[00:02:59] Okay, before we jump and tackle the top
[00:03:01] part, we I’ve got a brace down here uh
[00:03:04] with two screws in it. And on back of
[00:03:06] these screws are square nuts. So, I’m
[00:03:09] going to try and get those loosened up
[00:03:12] and out. And they’re real small.
[00:03:21] Well, the uh the nuts are starting to
[00:03:23] round off here. So, next thing I’m going
[00:03:25] to do, I’m going to try and take this
[00:03:26] coupler off. And then when I pull this
[00:03:29] top out, um then maybe I’ll be able to
[00:03:33] to slide it up and out of the way and
[00:03:36] then work on this later.
[00:03:44] [Music]
[00:03:58] [Music]
[00:04:03] There we go.
[00:04:08] [Music]
[00:04:09] Sometimes you can tighten it to loosen
[00:04:12] it.
[00:04:14] [Music]
[00:04:20] There we go.
[00:04:22] Okay. The next thing we’re going to do
[00:04:23] is uh going to try and take these nuts
[00:04:26] off the back. And these are 7/16 as
[00:04:29] well.
[00:04:34] [Music]
[00:04:36] Now, this is only going to remove the
[00:04:38] plate that goes around this piece. It’s
[00:04:42] not actually going to remove the whole
[00:04:44] thing.
[00:04:46] Now, if something gets stuck,
[00:04:48] what I do is I will put the nut back on
[00:04:50] it and then you can lightly tap on that
[00:04:54] nut. That way, you won’t ruin your
[00:04:57] threads or flare out the top.
[00:05:02] So there that come loose.
[00:05:09] There we go.
[00:05:12] Now, the next thing I’m going to do is
[00:05:14] try and get this pipe off of here. Um,
[00:05:17] so I’m just going to grab my pipe
[00:05:19] wrench,
[00:05:20] see if I can get lucky, and uh get it
[00:05:23] loose.
[00:05:40] She ain’t going to go that way. Well,
[00:05:42] I’m still having trouble getting that
[00:05:44] pipe off over there. So, the next thing
[00:05:46] I’m going to do, I took this off of my
[00:05:48] little stand to spin it around. Um, I’m
[00:05:51] going to lay it flat, try and get some
[00:05:53] leverage on it that way. See if I can
[00:05:55] bust it loose that way.
[00:06:02] There it goes.
[00:06:13] Well, I thought it was coming, but it
[00:06:16] just snapped. So, sometimes that’s the
[00:06:19] way it goes.
[00:06:31] [Music]
[00:06:39] Okay, the next thing we’re going to do
[00:06:40] is we’re going to take these top rings
[00:06:42] off. And uh what you’re going to need is
[00:06:45] uh I think these are 7/16 again. Uh,
[00:06:50] nope. They’re a half. So, what you need
[00:06:53] is a ratchet. Now, there’s two bolts
[00:06:56] that are holding these rings on. Okay.
[00:07:00] And these side panels come up and
[00:07:02] they’re they’re welded over. So, there’s
[00:07:05] also a bolt and a nut that kind of holds
[00:07:08] these internal workings together. So,
[00:07:10] for right now, we’re just going to get
[00:07:11] our half. We’re going to take these nuts
[00:07:14] or bolts out uh to get these top rings
[00:07:17] off.
[00:07:37] Okay. And there’s our top rings. Throw
[00:07:40] my nuts back in there and we’ll do the
[00:07:42] other side.
[00:07:45] Well, that’s the end of our second part
[00:07:46] in our four-part series on how to
[00:07:48] disassemble your Wayne 60. Now, in our
[00:07:52] next video, you’re going to see how to
[00:07:53] remove the manifold, the computer, as
[00:07:56] well as some other internal parts. Now,
[00:07:59] as you’re working, if you don’t have a
[00:08:01] copy of our catalog here, I highly
[00:08:03] recommend you drop us a line and get
[00:08:05] one. It’s absolutely free. And as you
[00:08:07] start pulling your pump apart, you can
[00:08:09] see what parts you’re going to need to
[00:08:11] replace. And you can circle them or, you
[00:08:14] know, you can just highlight them like I
[00:08:16] do. Uh that way you’re going to have an
[00:08:18] ongoing tab of the parts that you need.
[00:08:21] So when you put your order in, it’s all
[00:08:23] there for you. I’ll tell you, there’s
[00:08:25] nothing worse than putting your pump
[00:08:26] back together and realizing that you’re
[00:08:28] missing a part. The last thing, if you
[00:08:31] look in our catalog and that you see
[00:08:34] that uh there isn’t a part in there that
[00:08:36] you need, don’t panic. Just give us a
[00:08:38] call. There’s a pretty good chance that
[00:08:40] we have that part and it’s just not in
[00:08:42] the catalog yet. Uh we’re in the process
[00:08:44] of redoing our catalog. And when it’s
[00:08:46] done, you’re going to see that we’ve
[00:08:48] gone from our old 120 page catalog to
[00:08:51] 180 page catalog. That’s how many more
[00:08:54] parts we have available. Also, while
[00:08:57] you’re disassembling your pump, if you
[00:08:59] run into any snags, feel free to give us
[00:09:01] a call at 4025921710.
