The American Tank & Pump Company began building pumps in 1909 In Dayton, Ohio. In 1914 they Moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. Besides pumps they also manufactured oil dispensers, air towers as well as air compressors. The company sold in 1948 to Tokheim Tank & Pump.
